Copy. ALCON. Yep yep. Roger that. Affirmative. Negative. I'm on it. We got this. It is what it is. Just get it done. Oh sh!t. FUBAR. SNAFU.
If you have ever heard any of the above, you have probably been in the military at some point. If you are no longer in the military and you still hear these types of phrases, then you might be my neighbor. Over and over these phrases are used on a daily basis. Depending on the conversation, the angst, how the day is going, etc. I assume that there is a one-word answer to just about every question that can be asked. If not, there will be, post-haste!
At this stage of my life, I consider it an anomaly that I am still alive. Seriously. I figured that if I made it to my early forties, that it would be a miracle. I have lived my life in a less than calming manner. Stress and more stress is what I have thrived upon for most of my adult life. If it wasn't there, I "may have" possibly created it in order to over-come the challenge. After all, life itself hadn't presented anything "worthy" of my attention. Hence the above phrases ... I LOVE MY JOB!
Seriously? Yes ... seriously. I couldn't ask for much more than the exact and current place that I am in right now. IT FITS. The personnel I work with, the diversity of personalities (my own included!) that surround me, the outdoors and the risk. AH ... contentment.
Copy that ... SNAFU (situation normal, all f**ked up - in case you didn't known the acronym - you "civy")
